When you are thinking about your marketing strategy and what you need to do in order to make the best decisions you should start by thinking about what you want to optimize for.
This is something I see a lot of business owners struggle with when it comes to how they should structure their marketing because you don't want to get too caught up in vanity metrics.
For example, if your goal is to increase lead generation and you are gauging your success off of "likes" instead of leads you may interpret your marketing data incorrectly and miss some golden opportunities!
When you are using digital marketing in particular there are a bunch of different objectives that you can use in order to achieve a certain result so you want to make sure that you are picking the right objective to make your marketing campaigns successful!
Focus on the main goal of your business and continuously optimize for the best LONG TERM RESULTS!
